Where did you work before / experience / training / background?
I did my training as a chef back home at Mafikeng hotel school for three then went to Botswana at Gaboroni Grand Palm hotel in 2014 to further my training for the period of 6 months , same year August is when I joined the Jaci’s lodges in Madikwe game reserve even though they already welcomed me to the Team back in 2012 .
What draws you to Cheetah Plains / Sabi Sands?
An offer was made to me and was also recommended by Virginia Mekgwe my senior back in Jaci’s lodges and other different departments senior even though Jaci & Jan the owners knew my marvelous work (to top up cheery on top) smiles.
What do you love about your job?
Growing and experiencing new talent everyday and being able to share love, passion art of culinary with all nations “laughing”( being well recognised internationally and being a celebrity paid to be seen ). Having to work with a good team , being multi tasked and having to work at the same time being on holiday, who can say no to that?.
First Impressions of your first day at work?
My first impression was very good (a memory that can’t be erased) very welcoming having staff & owners of different lodge to come and welcome us was brilliant.
What makes you get out of bed in the morning?
Knowing that me and my team have a vision and goal to achieve to make our guest happy, welcomed, loved & appreciated during and after their stay.
