What to Bring
Wearing clothes in layers is the most practical way to cope with fluctuating day/night temperatures and cool evenings whilst on safari. As the day warms up you can peel off another layer. Then as it begins to cool toward evening, you can put them back on. A hat is essential. Around the camp and on game drives sandals or casual shoes are sufficient. It is advisable to bring a jacket and jersey for those cooler times of day and particularly in the winter months. Other useful items to bring on safari include a bathing costume, torch with batteries, sun screen, insect repellent, cameras and binoculars and any medication you might need. The camp does have a medical first aid kit with basic medication.

Malaria
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is a relatively low risk malaria area, but we strongly advise that you check with your doctor to find out what malaria tablets you will need and when you should commence the course.
